Top 10 Christmas Gifts for Cigar Smokers

Stogie Specs

YES!!! It’s my favorite time of year… Christmas! Now everyone I’m tasked with coming up with a ‘list’ of things I want / need / don’t ever need / will use. So this year I decided to make a list that would serve a dual purpose. 1) It will make my list public incase any of you want to buy me something and 2) It will hopefully give some ideas to others out there that are shopping for their loved ones that happen to enjoy cigars.

*Disclaimer* — All of the products that I’m listing are available on Amazon.com and I am an affiliate to Amazon.com… What does that mean? It means if you click on a link to these products and then buy something from Amazon then I make a commission. Pretty sweet right? I thought so.  I just wanted to let you all know that, I’m not secretly trying to get you to buy stuff from Amazon. I’m openly trying to get you to buy stuff from Amazon 🙂 Ok, disclaimer over. Enjoy!

My Top 10 Christmas Gifts for Cigar Smokers

Ok first off, I’m not going to suggest cigars in this list simply because there are too many out there and everyone has different tastes and I don’t want to be held responsible for a bad Christmas gift. Now that is out of the way, lets get to the list!

10. The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Cigars $12

Despite the name, this is an incredible book! I’ve read a lot of books about cigars and this book is heads and tails above others. It has an incredible amount of information that is current and historical. If you know very little about cigars this is a great book for you. If you know a great deal about cigars this book is a great refresher. For me it’s a great reference book to have around when I’m looking up info about cigars especially geographical tendencies for flavor. I highly suggest any serious cigar smoker have this book around.

9. Cigar Save It $14

Now this little thing right here looks pretty sweet! I’ve talked to numerous people that will let their cigars go out and then come back and relight them when they have time to smoke them. I personally don’t light up unless I know I’m going to have time to smoke the entire cigar. However, this would be very handy to have for those rare occasions, that you put a cigar out and want to come back to it!

8. Cigar Holder Clip – $6.08

I’m a huge golfer, not just in size, but in enthusiasm for the sport. I can’t count the number of times I’ve laid down my cigar on the cart and burned a hole in the seat or the floorboard. I hate sitting the cigar on the ground and possibly starting a grass fire. So this clip is perfect for me and any other cigar smoking golfers out there!

7. Cigar Aficionado Magazine Subscription $20 / year

No matter how much you love reading this blog. There is more cigar info out there to be consumed. These guys have been doing it forever and they do it well! The subscription is super cheap and well worth it!

6. Whiskey Rocks $29

A great guy for a whiskey drinker for sure, but certainly a cool gift for any one!

5. Stinky Cigar Ashtray Bowl $25

I don’t have this bowl personally, but I’ve used them and I love them. I hate the ashtrays that only have one or two slots to hold cigars and ones that aren’t very deep. Personally I’m lazy and don’t like emptying my ashtray out after every smoke. So this ashtray works well for me. I can store up to 20 cigar nubs in there! Of course it starts to smell eventually, but hey, that’s why they call it a stinky ash tray!

4. Xikar Cigar Travel Case $28

I’ve been wanting one of these for a long time. I’ve seen them at my local B&M and they just look awesome, and they work incredibly well from everyone I’ve talked to about them. When I travel I’m always looking for a way to carry my cigars safely and I don’t think it gets any better than this!

3. Xikar Cigar Punch $34

I love this cigar punch. Xikar makes some outstanding products and I’ve been eyeing this one for awhile. I use one similar to it when I go to my local B&M to smoke a cigar. I always use their punch. This is a more top of the line model, but it’s worth it. It will a long time for the blade to dull compared to the cheaper models out there.

2. The Valencia Glass Top Humidor $80

To me, this is one of the best looking humidors out there for the money. I love being able to look through the top and front to see all my cigars sitting there resting peacefully. This is a miniature version of the humidor I have at home and I love mine. So if you’re looking for a nice gift under the $100 range. This is it!

1. Colibri Gift Set $150

Top of the line. Colibri makes some of the best stuff out there. From lighters to cutters this is a great matching gift set for any cigar smoker! Some might say over priced, but if your cigar smokers knows about quality, they’ll know about Colibri!

Well there it is! That’s a pretty good Christmas list if you ask me! If you manage to get all of those under your tree send me a pic I’d love to post it!

What are some other ideas of Christmas gifts that you all have? I’d love to hear them!
