Spark your cigar interest again with this article about Alejandro Robaina!

Stogie Specs

It’s six days before the second anniversary of the legendary Alejandro Robaina’s death and I felt the need to reference a Cigar Aficionado article I read from back in April, 2010, just after he died.

Alejandro Robaina is noted as ‘The Godfather of Cuban Tobacco.’ His farms produced some of the best crops ever and his passion for cigars and the cigar industry as a whole was almost palpable.

When I first read the article a couple years ago, it immediately struck a chord with me. Since I’m extremely passionate about everything cigar related, I immediately felt a connection with this man and Cigar Aficionado’s James Suckling seemed to capture Mr. Robaina’s passion with the article he wrote about this legend.
