Cigar Sizes & Shapes Chart – Infographic
We created this Cigar Size & Shape Chart to be a quick visual reference for cigar smokers. This is by no means a complete list of all cigar shapes and sizes, but it should get you started.
We listed the most common sizes with their ring gauge and their length in the Standard system. There are tons of cigar shapes out there as well, however we just listed the most common ones that you’ll see when buying cigars in the United States. Hopefully this chart comes in handy for you, Enjoy! This poster is now available for sale on our store, just click the image or Click Here to Buy

@0f03046b9965e2aee49e04fc90eee5b0:disqus I’m looking into this. Depending on cost, I think that might be a possibility. Would you prefer the poster be to scale so you can actually hold a cigar up to the post to see what size it is, or would you rather it be full poster size?
MattLock
I was originally thinking full poster size… but it being to scale sounds sweet!
JML
Yes! I zoomed my computer screen and bookmarked the page and zoom settings so I could do exactly that, hold the stick to the screen. That would be awesome.
Jeff Jumper
Great chart! I would definitely buy it in a poster sized to scale–but only if you added my favorite size to the chart…the lancero is missing!
Eric Scism
Thanks Jeff! I plan on adding the lancero this weekend and removing the smoke times, or at least adjusting them. I’ll let you know as soon as the posters are ready! Thanks for the kind words.

Are the numbers that describe cigars consistent across brands? If so, do they correspond to size in any way?…
Yes to what Chris said. The ring gauge is measured in 64ths of an inch. So when you see 38 that means 38/64ths thats the girth of the cigar. You’ll also see the length measured in inches. Together both the length and the ring gauge form whats called a…

Eric Scism
Thanks man I”m glad you liked it. I’m trying to get this printed out and for sale. It’s not quite to scale right now, but I’m working on it.
